March in Paris

I would have preferred “April in Paris” but March will do. In 15 days, Lissa and I will be spending a week in Paris. With our busy schedules, this is the only time that we can go. It should be a fabulous trip.

I spent a few days in Paris about 15 years ago and barely scratched the surface. I’m looking forward to walking through the museums, art galleries, churches and eating some great food. Any advice from you world travellers?

Um, honey? We don’t leave in fifteen days.
We leave on March 15. That’s math, I know so I can’t calculate but I will be at the airport on March 15.

Jay - We leave for Paris on Friday - 3 days to wait. It looks like we have WiFi in our hotel room, so we’ll keep you posted - keep an eye on the blog. We come back on the 6th of March - we’ll let you know.

Did I say 15? I guess I’m a little anxious to get over there. OK. So we leave in 21 days. 504 hours. 3 weeks.

I guess I better get my passport renewed…

Jay - go see the catacombs. They are pretty hidden away, but if you find some travel guides you should be able to find the entrance tucked away between 2 cafés (if my memory serves). For about $5 you descend a spiral staircase and walk through the rows upon rows of bones, under the river, and back up to daylight. Not to be missed.

You have to visit the store called Colette. It’s a modern culture store that sells music, DVD’s, books, clothes, and tons more. It’s like a brick’s and mortar Bombippy.

Enjoy!
