50 Cent Mac
Steve Jobs is trying to work out a deal with rap star 50 Cent to produce a line of affordable Macs. The target audience would be inner-city residents. I thought this affordable machine was called the Mac mini?
I’d love to know how Apple is going to brand this machine. 50 Cent Mac? Mac Daddy? Ghetto Mac? Fully story here.

there’s a thin line between “making technology affordable ” and “opening an untapped market” - I’m afraid my cynicism is getting the best of me. Especially in light of the work Bill Gates does. I don’t normally name He Who is Not to be Named, and I don’t normally compare him favourably to The Source of All Things Shiny, but I’m gonna suggest Jobs takes a page out of the book of Gates and GIVES some money away.
