Bullfrog Power on Livebait.tv
Last Wednesday our Livebait.tv team spoke with the President of Bullfrog Power. If you want to know more about green power then watch our interview on Livebait.tv.
After you watch the interview, consider signing up for Bullfrog Power or a green electricity retailer in your area. It costs a little more than regular hydro but it helps to reduce the air pollution generated by coal burning power plants.
Now before my friend on the wet coast calls me a hypocrite, (for driving a Mustang instead of a hybrid vehicle) I haven’t signed up for Bullfrog Power, yet. I intend to sign up and will blog about when it happens.

Jay,
Check out David Suzuki’s(sp) ten things people need to do to help reduce global pollution. It’s neat. I don’t know the web link sorry.

JB, my green friend from the wet coast, Andy, sent me a link to David Suzuki’s Nature Challenge — ten simple things you can do to protect nature.
Andy was kind enough to point out number three on the list to me — buy a fuel efficient, low-polluting car.Do you think he was referring to my Toyota Corolla?

Never would have guessed you would turn into a granola eating, NDPing, no leash beach dog walker. There is nothing better than a gas guzzling speed demon or SUV.
While you’re greening it, I am going to be toasty warm with my gas furnace and when I get it, wood and coal burning fireplace.
When your electricty provider “browns” you out, you’ll have to fire up the gas powered generator.
Your friend, Paul R.

Paulie, lets be clear. There are three things I can’t stand. Granola. The NDP. Granola eating pinkos.
You don’t have to support the NDP or the Green Party to have a a conscience about the environment.
You won’t experience ‘brown outs’ if you use Bullfrog Power. You get your hydro off the grid, the same as everyone else. By signing up with Bullfrog Power you’re funding wind turbines and other production methods of green power.
I’ll be paying a little extra on my hydro bill so that your kids have clean air to breathe while you’re hooked up to a respirator in 30 years. Of course, I’ll still be driving my Mustang and Andy will still be asking why I don’t drive an electric car.

Don’t listen to the nay sayers Jay. Going green is the morally responsible thing to do. Deriding environmental responsibility is a lot like kicking a puppy, it’s a window into one’s psyche.
Although I do think dogs should be leashed on the beach. That’s just rude.

You don’t support the Green Party? What policies of the Green Party do you not agree with? Do you know anything about the leadership of the Green Party?
I’d have to guess that your opinions on the Green Party are based on ignorance, rather than any kind of substantial research or careful consideration.

I eat granola
and write with my left
the leash is a chew toy
Satchmos’ brains are bereft.
Its fun to be green
and vote for the red
but don’t be so blue
we’ll all soon be dead

Andy, good point. You forgot to call me a hypocrite in your last comment.
I think the Green Party has some great ideas when it comes to the environment. It’s the governing of the country where I think they’re in over their heads.

What a load of crap! You’re not serious. You’re actually buying into this global warming scam. Wake up. The pendulum is already swinging back to nuclear power … the power of choice. I’ll pit my U235 (or better still my Pu239) against your windmill any day Sven. And when you’re windmill reaches the end of it’s pathetic life, what have you got … a rusty old windmill. I’ve still got power for years after and just for fun, the potential to enrich the stuff and protect my family against you hillbilly, bucktooth farmers. When you come crying looking for a warm place to sleep and it’s 40 below outside I’ll remind you of how warm the globe has become!
