Ellen DeGeneres Please Retire
Was it just me or was Ellen DeGeneres really awful last night as the host of the Oscars? I just talked to a woman in my office and she also thought Ellen was incredibly dull.
I only watched the first 30 minutes of the show (I had a design deadline that kept me up all night). After watching Ellen’s opening monologue, I found myself flipping over to Dog Bounty Hunter on A&E.

Maybe Dog The Bounty Hunter should host the show next year. He could use his 10 gallon pepper spray bottle on anyone who gets out of line.

Even though I should be biased ( I live with her after all ), I agree. Ellen was about as dull as the winner for best supporting grip in a foreign documentary short. She lacked the charm we’ve all come to know and love, and even had me longing for Billy Crystal - like I did before coming out.
