Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
There have been 5 releases of Mac OS X in the time that it has take Microsoft to deliver 1 version of Windows Vista (Windows CE + ME +NT = Vista). One of the best reviews of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard comes from Ars Technica.
I haven’t upgraded yet. I’m concerned about software that may not work with OS X 10.5, yet. I have a lot of projects on the go and will wait until I get a bit downtime to test things out. From what I’ve seen so far it looks promising. More eye candy, more useful features, great user experience.

I’ve made the move to 10.5 and it’s been great. I went with the Archive and Install mode for installation for the cleanest install without a format, all of my applications work perfectly.
As for the new features by far the best for me has been Time Machine. It took less then a minute for the east setup and it works great!

I’ll probably upgrade closer to the end of the month. Most of the apps that I use have already been upgraded. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Leopard.
I’m still amazed at people like Tim and other ‘switchers’ I know that have tasted the Apple kool-aid and seen the light. Whose next? Dave? Neal?
